About Us

The word, Virāsat, borrowed from Persian verâsat and Arabic wirāṯa meaning to inherit, means Heritage. Thus, as our name suggests, Virsa is an endeavour to preserve the cultural inheritance of India which has been in existence for thousands of centuries. We are an innovative platform which has introduced interactive digital classes with great maestros who are going to teach you personally and guide you in your journey of pursuing arts.
Routes 2 Roots, in association with the Ministry of Culture, Government of India has taken up the initiative to impart knowledge and educate people on Indian culture and its unique wealth of performing arts.
Our program is an avant garde approach towards teaching students of schools all over India where they get in close proximity to the living legends and learn from the best the nation has to offer. Our mission is to eventually make this a global endeavor and reach schools all around the world where our rich cultural heritage could be shared.
We hold periodic workshops in each school along with inter school regional events as well as inter-country performances which are organised in the presence of our honoured and illustrious Board of Advisors.
